This Exeter-based SaaS company have won a number of industry awards and are trusted by hundreds of clients across the globe. They have experienced year on year growth - largely due to their focus on reputation, client retention and recommendations.  

Off the back of their success, they’re looking to recruit a Frontend Developer to join their team. They have some ambitious plans ahead which will see you working on a range of interesting projects to shape, enhance and develop the software and take it to the next level.  

What the role will involve:

  • Taking UX prototypes and bringing these to life - building new products and features using modern JavaScript frameworks.

  • Working collaboratively with the UX/UI team to ensure the best client experience, the backend development team to deliver new features of improve existing ones, and the technical support team to provide analysis or fixes as appropriate.

  • Continually improving the frontend structure, speed, delivery and standards.

  • Building maintainable, efficient code and creating new, re-usable components.

  • Ensuring brand consistency across all applications.

Technical skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of building responsive applications

  • Modern JS framework e.g. Vue, React, Angular

  • LESS or SASS

  • HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery

  • Experience with cross-browser testing

  • Using JS asset building pipelines such as Webpack or Gulp

You might be someone who has worked for a SaaS company before, but they’re also open to someone who has experience in a slightly different environment, such as a creative agency.
