Due to their continued growth, our client is now looking for a Financial Controller to join the team to support the business achieve its objectives. The organisation has a flat structure, that intrinsically will give you exposure to exciting challenges and development opportunities.

As the Financial Controller one area of focus will be for you to look at the Pricing Process, supporting the sales team and the forecasting of sales. By achieving this, it will have a direct impact on the growth and efficiency for the business. You will need to make sure that any changes are not only fit for purpose of the company now, but also for its future.

Your role as Financial Controller will see you:

• Looking at the current systems involved in the pricing process

• Managing the sales invoice process

• Identifying any improvements

• Taking a holistic view on the business, working with other teams including marketing and logistics

• Supporting the sales team

• Forecasting of sales and budgets

• Supporting the month and year end processes

• Strategic planning

• Improvement of management reports

As the Financial Controller, the skills and experience you will have include:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA - qualified

• Strong reconciliation and analysis skills with the ability to present complex information

• Commercial awareness and ability to take a broad business level view as well as provide technical solutions

• Advanced Spreadsheet skills

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred

• Previous experience of managing and developing staff

• Knowledge of international accounting and tax requirements

• Problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

• Natural leadership skills

• Dedication to continuous improvement and always looking for a better way of doing things

• Ability to combine empathy with assertiveness and influencing skills
