Remote - Devon/Somerset
Our client is an incredibly respected, well-established wholesalers selling a huge variety of products into various retailers across the UK. They have a fantastic, close-knit team who work together to deliver the best possible service for their clients.
We are on the lookout for a field-based account manager, to service their current clients and develop new business in Devon & Somerset. Our client has a brilliant staff retention rate and the reason for recruiting this role is due to a long-standing member of staff retiring. They are keen to add an ambitious, consultative and customer centric salesperson to take control of this buoyant region, build solid relationships and develop it.
The role:
Completely remote based, meeting with your customers regularly and proactively looking for new business to bring in within your area
Build strong relationships, not just with your clients but also the internal sales team, to help support your clients with orders, queries and setting up meetings
Work autonomously, keeping on top of your meetings, sales and targets, ensuring you’re achieving or of course, overachieving
Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities and proactively go after them
Always be presentable, a brand ambassador for the business and the products if you’re selling
What we’re looking for:
Experience within a sales environment, ideally face to face – open to years, this is more about the person, your ability and approach
Confident and proactive with the ability to manage your own workload
Driving license is essential
Ambitious, always thriving to achieve more
Consultative approach to selling
Ideally from a FMCG background, but we’re open to industry as long as your previous experience is transferable
You’ll be based in either Devon or Somerset and willing to cover the length and breadth of both counties
