We’re looking for a Frontend Developer who can utilise HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks to create beautiful and effective interfaces for varied websites and mobile applications. You will be responsible for creating innovative solutions, enhancing usability and ensuring they are visually appealing, so the successful candidate will be motivated to combine their eye for design and programming skills in harmony.
The projects will be very varied - some will be bigger, long-term projects with huge scope for your input, some will be smaller and more ‘straightforward’ projects. You’ll work collaboratively, but there will also be plenty of opportunities for you to take ownership of specific projects too.
What your role will involve in a nutshell:
Supporting the team with frontend development – from ideas to delivery
Listening to clients’ requirements and crafting an appropriate solution from technical specifications and briefs
Acting as a consultant to clients and exploring suitable solutions
Keeping up to date with new technologies and concepts that will benefit the team/company
Using your experience and knowledge to guide and develop best practice, as well as improving efficiency
Skills and experience we’re after:
Strong experience writing clean and semantic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery, React and Angular)
Creating mobile first, responsive, cross-browser experiences with a focus on performance
Prior experience with tools like NPM, Gulp, Grunt
Someone with experience of processes such as bundling, automated testing and linting
Version Control (Git)
