I’m recruiting for an admired and prestigious design company with a great reputation. They’re not fans of the 'cookie cutter approach' and pride themselves on the bespoke and high quality service they provide. Their clients are both national and international, spanning across numerous different industries – including some big and very well-known brands.
They’re a friendly, close-knit and fun bunch, and due to company growth and an increase in workload the time has come to add a new member to the team! The company really values and looks after their employees, offering some fantastic company benefits and incentives including: very flexible working hours and the option to work more hours over 4 days and have a longer weekend, health insurance, increasing holiday allowance with service, and lots of social opportunities when restrictions allow.
The projects will be very varied - some will be bigger, long-term projects with huge scope for your input, some will be smaller and more ‘straightforward’ projects. You’ll work collaboratively, but there will also be plenty of opportunities for you to take ownership of specific projects too.
What your role will involve in a nutshell:
Supporting the team with frontend development – from ideas to delivery
Listening to clients’ requirements and crafting an appropriate solution from technical specifications and briefs
Acting as a consultant to clients and exploring suitable solutions
Keeping up to date with new technologies and concepts that will benefit the team/company
Using your experience and knowledge to guide and develop best practice, as well as improving efficiency
Skills and experience we’re after:
Creating mobile first, responsive, cross-browser experiences with a focus on performance
Prior experience with tools like NPM, Gulp, Grunt
Someone with experience of processes such as bundling, automated testing and linting
Version Control (Git)
Finding someone with the right characteristics and values are really important to this company, so we’ll be looking for someone who is humble, positive, driven and passionate. You’ll need to work well in a team, have good attention to detail, be able to multitask and take pride in your work.
