This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone motivated by money. A hunter mentality is crucial and for the right person the rewards are endless! This role will be about gaining new business, within the SME market across EX & TQ postcodes in Devon, visiting prospects and selling the companies services. This is a cold calling focused role and all about gaining new revenue from fresh clients. Being approachable, outgoing and resilient are all key traits of a success BDM in this industry.
The role:
You will be tasked on visiting a number of new prospects on a monthly basis - any company within the EX & TQ postcode areas are yours for the taking
You'll need to plan your days and have a structured, targeted approach to what area you're visiting and when
There won’t be any leads provided, that’s all on you, so research and general understanding of the area you’re covering is essential
Building an initial rapport with prospects and providing a solution to their need to paramount
You'll be joining a large organisation with BDM's placed across the country
A team focused company who really want to incentivise, motivate and progress their employees
Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, but fundamentally you'll be in control of your own patch

Initially there will be a guaranteed 3-month commission - as soon as you start, you're earning – what £30k basic!?
You'll be targeted on a monthly basis and have key KPIs in which to meet - however, you don’t need to hit these to earn - you'll be paid on each bit of revenue you bring in regardless. Of course, once you hit your target that commission will increase
This company run a few different bonus schemes which all have price tags on them - the people hungry to achieve will always see the rewards here. Combined the bonus schemes could see you take home £15k on top of what's already on offer
The person:
As you've already read, this role is suited to a hunter, someone hungry, focused and motivated by OTE
Your background will be from a similar role and previous cold calling, B2B door knocking experience
You must be based within the EX or TQ postcode area
A strong sales background with a history of over achieving targets
Outgoing and personable personality with a high level of resilience
