We are thrilled to be working on this hugely exciting, brand new role on behalf our client who has seen some real growth over the last year and are looking to increase their team. This is a consultative, business development focused role, guiding clients through a process and ensuring they are provided with the right solution for them.
This role initially will be mainly around picking up inbound enquiries, conducting opening conversations, qualifying and working alongside the other departments to get the sale over the line. You will work closely with the marketing department and senior consultants to ensure that what you can offer is what the client needs. Some of these sales may have long lead times, so being a great relationship builder is key to this role.
We are looking for someone from a consultative sales background, who is highly detailed, used to a CRM system, process driven and ‘on the ball’, when it comes to jumping on good opportunities. As mentioned, our client is currently inundated with inbound enquiries, so initially you’ll work your way through those, ensuring you’re dealing with the right ones. Ideally, we want someone who is used to an ever-changing work load, who can adapt quickly, and could be from a Tech, Finance or Science/Medical background. You will be polished, proactive and considered and have the ability to read situations well and say no if needed. If you have a degree in either Science or Business Management that would be a hugh benefit, but by no means essential.
This is a new role in the company so progression is absolutely on the cards, a great supportive environment who already have a lovely team in place. It will be office based, with occasional travel to meetings and events so a driving license would be preferred.
