Lots of people would love to work somewhere that helps others or has a positive impact on people’s lives, and this company does just that - you’ll finish work for the day knowing you’ve helped make a difference. They’re hugely successful, and as they continue to grow they’ve created a new role for a Business Analyst to join their friendly team.

Your role will be crucial throughout the full software lifecycle as you’ll be supporting the development team’s design, build, test, delivery and in service use. You will play a key role in reviewing delivered work packages, testing to ensure that delivered solutions satisfy their requirements, as well as really delivering on Project Objectives - being that link between technical and non-technical teams within the company.

You will also support the Product Owner with Project Management too - exploring, documenting and communicating project objectives, scope, requirements and success criteria.

Key responsibilities as the Business Analyst:

  • Prepare project objectives and requirements

  • Clarify requirements for the business stakeholders, product team, and technical development team

  • Maintain project documentation

  • Support with the design, build, testing and delivery of projects

  • Provide user acceptance testing to confirm projects have met the objectives

  • Assist with understanding and prioritising system change requests and issues

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst role or similar - including product development and project management

  • Confident with software and architectural terminology and cloud based, integrated software systems

  • Experience with Excel and Database tools

  • Excellent communication skills and a good listener

  • Highly analytical, enjoy digging into the detail of difficult problems, asking great questions and understanding the real issues faced by users and systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Time management and organisational skills

In line with latest government guidance relating to Covid-19, homeworking options will be available. Flexible working will also be considered.
