We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst with experience bridging the gap between the business side of the company and the Development team. You’ll therefore be someone who is technically minded with good commercial understanding.

The company provide award winning software to their clients and they are an ambitious, friendly bunch. When you’re in the office you’ll have that nice balance between working hard, but having a laugh along the way!

Your role will be varied in nature and some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing business requirement analysis - liaising with the internal team, clients and focus groups to understand the business needs

  • Identifying problems, opportunities and solutions for the business

  • Documenting your findings in a clear and succinct way so the development team understand the requirements and can deliver against the given criteria

  • Taking an active role in internal workshops as necessary

  • Performing QA testing

  • Stepping into a Product Owner role when needed during Sprints

  • Assist with analysis of support tickets

  • Analysing Google Analytics and identifying actionable insights

  • Keep up with industry trends and perform competitor analysis and summarise your finding in effective and actionable reports

  • Ensuring best practice is followed on all assignments and providing input into the continuous improvement of procedures and processes

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • 2 years + experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with a development team

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to translate technical requirements into non-technical and vice versa

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • An interest/passion for technology

  • Experience with Agile methodology is advantageous

You’ll be joining a company where teamwork is valued and appreciated. They offer a competitive benefits package including a good holiday allowance, pension scheme, discretionary company bonus and team outings/events. There will be the option for a balance of home working and office working (when it’s safe to return to the office) if preferred too.
