Sarah West are representing a fantastic start-up who are looking to scale their business, harness their brand and shout loudly about the products they offer. The business is online based, with a team spread across the UK and into the US. Having been established in 2018, the company has grown you, month by month and are really getting into their stride. This next hire is integral to ensure their exposure spreads and their growth can continue.

We are looking for a confident, outgoing, and creative marketer who really knows how to market and build a brand! Their clients are all vendors, so we’d be keen to speak to people who can get into the minds of other marketers, what makes them tick and how they will be looking to spend their budgets. We aren’t worried about industry experience, this is more about the person and their ability to understand how important building a strong brand, within their industry is.

Main responsibilities:

  • Generate activity that will increase exposure of the company, mainly targeting an international audience

  • Working closely alongside the content team and CEO to come up with strategy and fresh ideas on how to promote the company and their products

  • Be the driving force behind this first marketing role within the business

  • Market research, understanding competitors to push your USP

  • Brand ambassador for the company, taking ownership of the material you produce and taking new risks, trying something new

  • This isn’t an analytical role or focused on lead gen – this is all about the brand!

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for branding and marketing

  • Experience within a brand focused marketing role – we aren’t worried about years of experience, this is more about natural talent and the right person

  • Someone who can think outside the box and get creative

  • Confidence taking control of the branding of the business, developing it

  • Ambition to grow within the company and be an integral part of this growing, successful team
