This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an excellent, well established, local company looking to add to their area sales team in the South West. Our client works within the parts industry, so we are on the lookout for someone with industry experience who can come onboard and dive straight in, building relationships with existing clients and developing new business.
You will be covering mainly Devon and Cornwall, tasked with developing business strategies for your key accounts (around 40) and regular maintaining contact with your smaller accounts too, working alongside the internal sales team. Your role will be field based, so you'll need to plan each day effectively to ensure the best use of your time. You'll be targeted on a margin basis for your area and will be expected to build your own pipeline sourcing new business and maintaining the current.
We are looking for someone with parts industry experience, on the lookout for their next challenge. The key personality traits needed for this role are resilience, enthusiasm and organisation. The role is busy, with lots of products to learn so someone who can learn quickly and can communicate well will find their feet fast. The desire and motivation to work independently and to set targets is essential. We are looking for an outgoing, passionate but professional approach, excellent background in sales with proven success.
