Are you someone who likes variety in their work who’s looking to join a rapidly growing Exeter-based organisation, with ambitious and exciting plans for the rest of 2020 and beyond?

In this role you'll be supporting the existing team with all aspects of Administration, HR and a small element of finance. While of course you’ll be fully supported, this is also a great opportunity to work independently and evolve ‘how things work’ in the areas you’ll be involved in.

We’re looking for someone who’s happy to juggle priorities, who’s organised and enjoys getting things done – to support the smooth running of the organisation, overall.

You’ll be joining a great team, made up of like-minded, ambitious professionals and get to enjoy the benefits of their fantastic working environment, on the outskirts of Exeter.

A priority for this organisation is the development of its team. Each week you’ll have the opportunity to spend 2 hours training, that will support your development aspirations and allow for career progression, as they continue to grow.

A bit more detail on the role:

HR

  • Recruitment - this includes managing applications, arranging interviews and making sure the necessary documents/checks are in place

  • Onboarding – working with other internal teams to manage the new starters process and that all internal systems are up to date with the right information

  • Managing maternity leave, sick pay and holiday

  • Writing and implementing HR-related policies and procedures

  • Developing/Managing/Bringing to life the organisation’s approach to Wellbeing

  • Policy writing, managing employee and client contracts, and sending invoices

Administration

  • This will include all things related to the smooth running of the office/team. This could include monitoring and ordering supplies, some facilities management (that includes making sure that systems work and arranging for support, when they don’t!), arranging deliveries etc.

  • Sending out invoices, cross-checking bank references and making changes, if there are any discrepancies

More about you

  • You’ll be an excellent multitasker who learns quickly and is happy to get on and get things done

  • Although you’ll be happy to work independently, this organisation values transparency, so they’re looking for someone who is comfortable asking for help when it’s needed, and equally be open and honest with the team too

  • Great communication skills and someone who likes to build positive working relationships is essential as you will be working alongside internal teams, clients and other external contacts

  • You must be able to demonstrate recent experience in an HR/administrative role
