We’re recruiting for an international company who are hugely passionate about their purpose. They’re going through a period of transformation so it’s a great time to be part of the team. You’ll be responsible for providing technical support to staff and customers, as well as assisting with IT project delivery.
They’re currently rolling out a new company wide system so you’ll help with proactive ‘big picture’ projects, as well as any day to day support issues that arise.

Responsibilities as an IT Support:
Provide technical support for the company’s applications and websites within ITIL’s guidelines and SLA’s
Assist in testing and development and providing feedback on the company’s applications and websites
Install and configure phones, computer hardware, operating systems and software
Manage the phone system, server and network infrastructure and troubleshooting for the Head Office
Set up new user accounts and profiles and deal with any password issues using Microsoft AD/Office 365
Liaise with and manage 3rd party support companies when logging, tracking and resolving incidents as necessary
Ensure data integrity through regular back-up routine
Ensure overall security and upgrades are applied
Keep all registers of equipment, software, domains and users are maintained
The skills and experience you’ll need:
Ability to provide technical support and resolve queries with service levels
Someone who is able to collaborative and communicate requirements to internal and external stakeholders
Able to monitor performance metrics and document workload for reporting
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Any of the following would be a bonus:
Experience of working within an IT support team with escalation procedures
Experience administering users and computers via a Windows Server domain environment, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Admin Portal
Formal IT training such as CompTIA A+, MCSE, MCP or equivalent
Awareness of ITIL and Agile software development practices and processes
The role will initially be remote due to Covid-19, but longer term you’ll be working in the office in Exeter too.
